My first voiceover job, as well as my first job ever, was playing a gossiping Muppet named Toya, one of the Dirt Sisters on a Saturday morning series called Citykids (for Jim Henson Productions). Working with the muppets was a true dream come true, and being a non-muppeteer voice for a muppet was a rare opportunity. It was an amazing introduction into the world of voice over, and a great source of education.
So retro! Notice that the phones actually have chords lol!
The moral of the story is that I found my dream job at an early age and didn’t even realize it! C’est la vie! I know now, and that’s all that matters!
